QIO Transmittal Series The QIO Transmittal Series is designed to provide QIO Review Program procedures and updates to hospitals. Some generic information about the Medicare Quality Improvement Program and other Foundation activities is also included. The QIO Transmittal Series is maintained on the Foundation's web page. A brief summary of any changes will be mailed to hospitals as the changes occur. A hardcopy version of the QIO Transmittal Series and updated pricing information for the hardcopy version may be obtained by contacting the Foundation.
