New Hampshire Medicaid

The Northeast Health Care Quality Foundation (NHCQF) has a contract with the State of New Hampshire, Office of Health Planning and Medicaid, to conduct retrospective post-payment reviews of inpatient care provided to New Hampshire Medicaid recipients in New Hampshire hospitals and in out-of-state border hospitals designated by New Hampshire Medicaid as border facilities.

In general, NHCQF’s Medicaid review process parallels that used for Medicare reviews under NHCQF's QIO contracts in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
